spring break 06
my buddies and i are tossing around ideas for spring break, i think we've narrowed it down to jamaica or bahamas, places like that... not panama/daytona anywhere in the U.S.
where do you reccommend staying in jamaica or bahamas?? any other destination suggestions? we're all 21 or 22 and looking for more of a party scene, and something that offers the most bang for our buck. any tips on where to find all inclusive hotel packages?? any help is appreciated!

I like the Bahamas better in that there are things to do/see outside the resorts! Jamaica is a human wasteland outside of the resorts so if you got there the resort is your only option.

if you're just looking for drunken madness, i'd say go to the bahamas. personally, i'd recommend Costa Rica. If you go to the pacific coast you will find partying college types, but there is alot more to do/see in CR. nowhere nere the level of drunken debachery that you'll find in bahamas though.

i think i'm more interested in jamaica than any of my other friends, and thats cuz of the reefer.. i dont think i could go on spring break w/o it

you'll have no problem getting "reefer" in the bahamas. it's easier to get good pot in jamaica, but you should be able to find reasonable stuff in the bahamas. Can't beat the deals in Jamaica though. Be careful though, if you stray of the reservation in jamaica, it gets rugged real quick
