Johnny Moss book?

Looking to find a quick refresher book to go thru before I started my 2+2 book on 7 Card Stud, I picked up an old copy of How To Win at Poker by John Moss. This was first published in 1950. Not a bad little book for it's time, rally.

My question: Is this the legendary Johnny Moss?

Yes, that's what I figured. John is apparently from Detroit and Johnny from Odessa TX.
