Default Germany freed terrorist as part of deal to free German Hostage in Iraq

This story happened a few days ago but did not draw much attention in world news.

This article mentions the overall shadiness involved in Germany releasing the terrorist that hijacked a TWA flight in 1985 and beaten/killed a US Navy officer. The terrorist, Mohammed Ali Hamadi, flew to Lebanon after being released; Lebanon refuses to turn him over to US. Less then three days later Susanne Osthoff, a German archaeologist taken hostage was released. Germany, of course, is denying a "deal" was made and timing of all of this is coincidence.

This article is excellent; the US already has announced that it will track Hamadi down. Germany also had some companies involved in manipulating the oil-for-food program in Iraq prior to the war. This article discuses "surcharges" or basically kickbacks that Saddams regime received.
