Default Did I deserve this?

I had a huge chip lead and was counting on first. But what I got was a disappointing third.

Hand 1: WTF?! Limp? When the two other people behind you have so little BB? Really, really weird. I fold.

Hand 2: Meh, I guess this work. I make it t500, but I'm not so sure that's better than limping or something.

Hand 3: I guess this is standard, sure. Depends on reads, but good stuff.

Push the QQ, everything else looks fine.

That A3 hand was gross. Let it go after the raise.

And how is the first hand profitable?

Pushing QQ here doesn't change anything, his raise for this hand is fine.

Why show the first hand? Do you want to encourage spite calls?

I play a live game with friends. The payout structure is like 75-20-5 (3rd gets their money back). We often start with two tables of 9 or so.

I never show my cards when I'm pwning the bubble (even the ITM bubble, since 3rd payout is so miniscule).

I even go so far as to remind them that 3rd pays way more than 2nd while I'm pushing them around. But why would you show the bluff? Don't you want them to keep folding?

IMO, that's just letting your ego get in the way: "Hey everybody, look at me. I'm the greatest bluffer in the world." In that respect, even though he was stupid to do so, you bought and paid for the call with AT that crippled you. Don't show your bluffs!!!

Oh, and all that chat was bad too. Don't antogonize your opponents when you want them to keep folding. Really, what the hell are you doing other than stroking your own ego???

Well I was thinking that they could laydown a hand because their is a shortstack here. So I could not only get those chips but hopefully get a nice cushion for 1st. But little did I know this guy was willing to gamble with A10.

Yes, I like a stop and go ten times better here, precisely because of stack sizes.
