The reason I ask is that I have tried to count, but some of the names are asexual, which is making it tricky. If anyone could give me a definate answer, It would be greatly appreciated!

Do men have an advantage over women in NLHE? What if we played 100 WSOP ME, and the field was split 50/50 men and women. How many times would a man be champion versus a woman?

They announced that there were 6 women left when they were down to 280 players, so how many others were in the 285 that were eliminated?

I don't think men have an inherent advantage over women; however since most of the top pro's happen to be men at this point, the men would have a big advantage.

Assuming equal skill, it would be about evenly split (within expected statistical somethingorothers).

Of course there are more top flight male players than female, so by pure numbers its no surprise there are few woman left in the event.
