Default $11 Preflop decisions

Lately I have been playing alot of Sng, I am basicly a cash table player so I need some feedback here.

Hand 1:First level, blinds 10/20, no big hands yet, everyone arround 1000, hero 5 tabling no reads.
UTG takes alot of time before limping, I make it 80 from UTG+1 with QQ, folded to button who min raises, UTG pushes I fold. 10 players left

Hand 2: Third level, blinds 20/40, Hero is dealt AKo in MP and raises to 120 folded to button who pushes, BB goes all in Hero folds.
Hero is covered. 8 players left.

Basicly I am wondering if I am loosing value in these spots. To me it seems like 50-50 situations and I really dont have to play these pots right now.

What are the blinds? How many players are left?

Call hand 1. Fold hand 2. Unless you have some abnormal chip stack in hand 2. You don't mention what your stack is like in hand 2, but if it's really short, you should call.

Same. Folding QQ preflop is not something you do at an $11.
