Default quick look at a hand... how many outs do i need?

stars multi. just into the money, maybe 175 people left. i was top 30 in chips most of the way, but just lost a good chunk of chips. blinds are 300/600/75. i've got about $11,000. i'm doing this from memory so the numbers aren't perfect, but they're all close enough for the odds to be about right.

i've got QhTh in the big blind. it's raised by UTG to 1,800. 2 callers, SB folds, and i call 1,200 more.

flop comes KJ5 with 2 hearts. pots about $7,500. i've got about $9,000 behind, UTG has me covered by a mile.

i check, UTG makes a smallish bet of about $2000. folded around to me. push, call, fold? i call.

turn is a black Q. $11,500 in the pot.

i check. UTG pushes me allin. over $20,000 in the pot. about $7,000 left for me to call off. i'm getting almost 3:1 with an open ender, heart draw and 2nd pair. auto call? or can you get away? how many outs do you need here for the call to be correct? how many i've my outs are good here?

is this a terrible situation i got into, or does this seem like a descent spot to pick up a huge pot? i'm a little confused about the whole hand really. i could've folded in the first place. could've pushed as a semi-bluff on the flop or on the turn. i don't think i can fold to the flop bet getting 5:1.

passive play got me into a tough spot. what would have been the best line?

considering your stack size isnt great compared to the blinds, i ll call here cant really ask for a better draw to triple up your stack at least.

yep. i semi-bluff all the time. i don't really know what made me not want to do it here.

aggressive is good, passive is bad.

You need 12 good outs to call here. You have a maximum of 20 outs right now.

If opponent has: your outs are...
JJ: you probably have 17 good outs
KQ: 15
AA: 12
AQ: 12
AT: 9
66-88, no hearts: 20, but highly unlikely given how he has played this hand

I think you should have pushed the flop, but can call the turn here.
