Default How\'s my line?

Paradise Poker 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Turn: (24 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.

River: (36 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)

Final Pot: 36 BB

At the flop, I thought I was way ahead, but the action made me think I was likely behind. Still, too much in there to fold, so I held on. Advice?

What'd you put MP2 on? Unless it was QQ, why not raise that turn? He may have waited for the turn to raise a non-flush card. He might have AQ, or an overpair. I know lots of players who will do that so as not to bloat the pot on the flop.

Looks fine. MP2 waking up on the turn, combined with all the flop action, is enough to make me slow down.

CC preflop is questionable although fine if you think that you won't get 3 bet.

3 bet the turn.

What happened on the river?

I think I find a fold preflop. You're playing the pair for set value and I don't think two limpers before the raise is enough to call - unless you're very sure you'll get more people to call behind. The limp reraise from UTG+3 generally indicates a big pocket pair, and then it's capped, surely this is a fold. Post flop I think you played it fine. The pot is huge, and I think you have to call it down though I suspect you're behind.

I would fold this PF. At the time just before your CC of the PFR, there is 5.5 SBs in the pot. You could most likely count on the 2 limpers to call the raise. This still gives you only 7.5 to 2.

Sorry, I don't know what happened to the river. I was trying to leave the results off, so as not to bias the responses. Oh well. Results in white now.

I called PF because I hadn't seen the SB or BB lay down ANY hands in the blinds yet---I was anticipating them calling.

EDIT: Maybe this is incorrect in itself?

Jesus christ, I didn't look at the results yet, but did you really let the river get checked through even though you had a set.

I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth...

Actually, send me a dollar as punishment.

Now that you've posted the river action, I think you're probably good. You're probably up against AA, KK, Qx and a str8 draw or two. I'd love to bet here, but I think I'd probably wuss out and just check it like you did.
