Default (100nl) Button raise flops double gut shot + turned FD

I am viewed as loose and aggressive. I have shown down air once or twice and have also played my draws hard.

The original limper is a huge donk and I raised him in an attempt to get the pot HU or make him fold PF (unlikely, he had to see a flop to muck).

The BB is a solid thinking TAG. I figured when he called the flop bet he hit it pretty hard and was tryiing to trap me. I checked on the turn due to the odd size of my remaining stack in proportion to the pot size and my desire to not be c/r'd all in which is what I felt was imminent.
