Default Hotel Mirage vs. Venetian

Title says it all. First trip to LV in about 5 years. Staying for 4 days at the end of January and have a choice between the Venetian or the Mirage. Cost is not important, company is picking up the tab. Any opinions. Thanks in advance.

there's no poker at the venetian. also, it's kind of far away from the action up there. but it is a beautiful hotel.

Absolutely stay at the Venetian. And drink at Red Square.

Venetian rooms are the nicest in LV IMO but if youre like me youll never be in it, so just stay where youre gonna play poker.

yep,,,,easy walk to any of the big three poker rooms,,havn't stayed at the Wynn yet but the Venetian by far has the best rooms and best selection of great food delights,,upgrade to the Master suite if money is no object,,,simply maaaavelous.

Not hardly. There is a walkwway bridge out front of the Venetian that takes you over to the front of the Mirage by the hotel valet entrance. It's right accross the street.
