Default AA hand

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, MP calls, CO calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, MP folds, CO calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, CO folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: (7.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 9.75 BB

All seems pretty standard to me except the turn, should I bet when checked to like that (against an unknown opponent)?

Not against an unknown at this level, I like it vs a highly agro player though.

You don't like the bet? His check seems not fishy but defensive. He's scared of the K and left jam mode to enter call down mode. I don't hate the bet, but I can respect checking behind. Seems standard.

I would bet this turn against an opponent capable of folding two pair or against an unobservant opponent who won't slow down with two pair even with a possible straight out there.

I think we're losing quite a bit of value vs random 1/2 players who will call down with anything. Being weak at the knees just because the boards scary isnt a reason to give a free pass to random pair hands. However, vs someone who will bluff or fold, or after bluffing fold the river, this is a nice little line that I like.
