River play? 600 nl
Villain totally has it out for me. I'm playing my usual spazzy, psycho way. He's made a few plays at him and I've made a few at him. He shows down some pretty crappy hands.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Button ($985.95) SB ($787.95) Hero ($681.60) UTG ($1249.38) MP ($1105.93) CO ($684) Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $3. UTG calls $6, 4 folds, Hero raises to $15, UTG calls $15. Re: River play? 600 nl
Raise more PF. I would either 3-bet the flop or check raise the turn, the former looks more like a bluff and the latter will get more money in if he is bluffing, your way just let's him improve for free.
River I would check/call. |

Re: River play? 600 nl
3-bet to 200 straight? I also feel like this loses hand that I have dominated because when I come out firing after 3 -betting he's going dump just about everything. I really wanted to 3-bet, but I don't use it a lot so I don't know how effective it is. I think I should start trying it.
What should be my 3-betting hands here? |

Re: River play? 600 nl
if he wont bet kings and tens you should bet it all on the end.

Re: River play? 600 nl
I got the feeling that he wouldn't be betting anything other than a J on the river, but I may be projecting here. I don't think I'm good enough to divine an opponent's value betting habits after only 20 minutes or so.

Re: River play? 600 nl
I think the key here is that you took the lead... got good value for your 10 10... are going to make some money.
However, as the hand progresses... I don't mind you loosing out on that extra $100-$200 value bet. If you over commit... and he does wake up with a monster... you're going to get stacked. Furthermore, if this guy really has it out for you, "slow his role" and aggressive calling from the blind by checking down the river and showing him 10's. |

QQ. And where would I be overcommitting? I'm afraid of only one hand on the turn.
