Re: Why you reraise big with premium hands preflop: shameless big pot
I hate to sound like a limit player, but he's getting 6-1 plus monster implied odds and he's presumably not going to lose his on a K or J high flop. Plus he closes the action

Plus he's playing against fools and their raises obviously mean nothing and they don't like money. Posistion+Fools+Able to stack them=not terrible call at all.

Not going to show down a K or J high flop? Its going to cost big if you dont absolutely nail the flop. |

Re: Why you reraise big with premium hands preflop: shameless big pot
Calling with KJ your not going broke with a single pair, you want a OESD. I'll take 6-1 pre-flop when you are only a 3-1 dog if dominated.

Like I said, I immediately put the re-raiser on a premium pair - so given that I think he has aces, I can't continue unless I get a big draw or flop two pair. It won't be expensive for me because I'm not going to showdown with one pair. |

I know that laying down KJ to a raise and a reraise is preached over and over in SSNL. This is to help newer players who WON'T be able to lay down with a single pair. |

Really confused. You must have had a good read on these guys, cause a raise from EP and a call, even with position calling KJo is -EV here. I'm just not sure what hands are calling a push on this kind of flop multi-way. I guess once SB goes on his gutshot, UTG has odds. Crazy.
