Default $11 - Pocket 7s in the BB on the bubble

Blinds 100/200
UTG 1850
Button 1900
SB 2250
BB 2000

Two folds, SB completes;
Hero (7,7) ?

SB has been loose passive, so he could have almost anything other than complete trash.

That's what I did. I was wondering if I should just see the flop because of the relatively equal stack sizes. My thinking being that maybe I should slow down and let someone else do something stupid.

Do you have more info?
-How many times have you pushed?
-How many times has he limped in that situation?...etc.

This is a push in normal conditions, but it would not surpirse me if that idiot calls you with QJ. We defenetly need more information here, but with what u gave its a push.

Unless you have been pushing frequently in recent hands, I think you have to push here. The SB limp is almost always a big sign of weakness unless you've been pushing a lot, which may cause them to trap (and by trap I simply mean they are willing to play for all of your/their chips and call your push...not that it's a reasonable play for their hand). I'm guessing that doing the math would result in you having to take this down pretty frequently for it to be +$EV, but I believe that you will.

Rather than go all-in, I'd normally just try a steal with a raise to around 600 or 700 pf after he completes, I'd rather not have him call with two overcards and a raise will definitely make him think, and probably give you a few extra blinds the next few rounds since he'll be afraid of the raise (or looking to trap you that way).

A raise to 600 makes it for him 400 to win 1000.

A raise to 700 makes it for him 500 to win 1100.

Those are good odds. What are you doing if he calls?

I think it is most important to know if he did this before and what you did then. If this is the first time he completes and you want to make a statement I would go for a push at the 11s.

I haven't pushed in 20 hands. SB has completed or limped probably 40-50% of the time in the last 20 hands and has not shown much agression post flop, primarily min-bets or check/folds.
