I think Nike has such credibility already that their ads don't have to make sense. If this was a Converse ad with Dwyane Wade, for example, I don't think it would be as good - not because of Wade vs. Lebron, but because Converse isn't very established as a basketball brand compared with Adidas, Nike, or Reebok. |

That was a little before my time. As I've been growing up, I haven't seen any big basketball players endorsing them until Wade. What the hell happened? I do really like the ad they have with a bunch of his high school and college footage. |
