I'm going to Pechanga on Sept. 12th. Anyone been there and played their cardroom? I will be playing up to 3/6.

Re: Anyone Been To Pechanga?
Been there once in the past year, it is a very nice room, they added on some too it is downstairs(no cell phone reception there) and usually (well before the poker boom) not too long a wait to get into a game there.

What limits do they spread?
Funny, I was just about to post something about Pechanga. I will be visiting friends very close by from Sep. 2-9 and plan on playing there quite a bit. Can anyone tell me the limits and games that are spread? What is the quality of play there?
Thanks, Rick Diesel |

Re: Anyone Been To Pechanga?
i have been there once, pretty nice. I played 3/6 and it was very soft, as can be expected. I think they spread up to 20/40 and they have multiple games as well. The room is downstairs out of sight, and its kinda cramped i thought...

Re: Anyone Been To Pechanga?
Wasn't impressed.
Ring games were ok - pretty much a fish pond, and I can find that here in LA. Tournaments were a joke. 15 minute rounds...can you say all-in? By the time you take the blinds, they go up again...not a good use of tournament dollars. |

Re: Anyone Been To Pechanga?
very very nice remodel job, the hotel is awesome. the poker room is large, spread pretty big limits i think 20-40 and they have a few NL games now... i believe they have a lot of tables, like 30 - 40 or so .. all downstairs in a non smoking room.. games are soft, you can easily make money on your trip.. worth staying a few days.. PALA is near there also, very very nice casino, but no poker yet..
