Did you see how terrible Kenna looked during that hand? He looked like he didn't want to even be seen. I think I would have called him there, and I'm tight-weak.

I think it's BarryW or something like that.

Barry v Kenna would be a great time to break out the "Play of the Day" on the thebike.com website to help draw people into getting archives/live show.

I deleted that "not thinking ahead" post. Kenna got the 5K call when he was way ahead. It's hard to fault that.

Wow! What a freak'in night...I hope it was as enjoyable to watch as it was to talk about.

the bluffs...the calls, what can you say?!?

As for the big hand - the action went like this:

Barry raised it to $120 with J/J. Kenna was the only caller with 7/6 off suit.

the flop comes 10-7-6(two spades). Kenna checked. Barry bet $250. Kenna check-raised to $800. Barry raised him another $1000. Kenna called.
The turn brought the king of diamonds. Kenna checked - Barry bet $1500.
Kenna check-raised to $5000. He tossed in a $5000 chip like it was a peanut.

Barry thought about it for a moment and called.

The river brought the 10 of hearts.

Kenna immediately moved all-in for another $5000. Barry thought about it for a while - he only had another $3800 and the pot was almost $20,000. He called.

His two pair... jacks and tens won a $23,500 pot over Kenna's two pair(7's and 6's)...Wow?!?

What a night!

Can somebody talk about this hand in the high no-limit forum?

Thanks for watching! See ya on monday.

Mo explained is call with pocket aces to me.

The board read 8-9-10-jack and Ed bet $1500. Mo thought about it and then called.

He told me he called because he knew Ed would run the river more than once. So Mo figured that Ed either is bluffing or maybe he's got two pair. If he had two pair, Mo had eight outs. Now running it once is suicide - but he figured the pot is about $5500. Call $1500...if Ed has two pair, then Mo only has to win the hand once(if they run it three times) to make $1800 - obviously a profitable venture. And if by chance Ed was bluffing, Mo could win the entire pot.

Hope my babble makes sense. thanks for watching - feel free to send me a private message with any questions, advice, or anything....

That is ridiculous. He really said that? Well, Mo's stock just went way down in my book. It is dumbfounding to think Mo doesn't know running it multiple times does not change your EV one iota.

He didn't quite have the odds to call if he KNEW the guy was on two pair. The only possible justification for the call has to take into consideration a strong possibility that the guy was bluffing.

Kenna wound up with jacks and sevens, not that it matters.

If you are going to correct a statement that's not even worth correcting, please do it...um, correctly? Yeah, thanks.

10s and 7s.
