WSOP 2005 $1500 limit event - When should I register?

By when should I register for the WSOP 2005 $1500 limit event? Do the places fill up fast?
Is the tourney capped?

Friend of mine has already registered due to prompting by Matt Savage. Matt feels that the 1500 event will max at 2000 well before the World Series kicks off. Hope this helps.

Do you have any idea if Matt's view applies to the $1,500 NL events as well?
