Switching from $25 to $50 NL - Having a lot of trouble HELP

OK, A little background. I play mostly $25NL on party, some SNG and MTT along the way. At the end of the month, I usually cash out all but $200 and start over again.
I want to move up to $50nl and continue my success there. Well, I've tried doing that for a short while and lost about $300 over a few days. Here are my stats.

In 25NL:
VP$IP = 23.2%
PFR = 5.21%
W$WSF = 29.73%
WTSD = 19.67%
W$ASD = 48.96%
BB/100 = 11.16
# of Hands = 36K


And in 50NL:
VP$IP = 23.64%
PFR = 7.99%
W$WSF = 33.92%
WTSD = 19.6%
W$ASD = 42.7%
BB/100 = -6.48
Hands = 4k


Suffice to say, I'm pretty embarassed about my winrate in 50NL. I don't really know if it's variance or just me being a donk moving up. Maybe I'm not that good? Thanks in advance for taking a look at this

This looks low to me, but still could be part of variance. Ask yourself: Are you calling too much? Bluffing too much?

I remember having problems as well, when I moved up to NL50. But it was just a cold streak.
Then went back to NL25 got my confidence back and crushed NL50 the next time I took a stab at it.

Certainly too early to say. You do have a fairly significant change in prf number when you moved up. Check what hands you're now raising with... are they the right hands to have added to your range or are you raising trouble hands?

Well over the 4k hands, I've had AA cracked 5 times, KK cracked twice. I've even had AA and KK cracked at the same table!! I am being a bit overaggresive on hands like AK and AQ. But I looked at all the sessions, and it does seem like I got dealt a number of bad beats. And then, I see hands where I clearly tilted after a bad beat. Here are some hands. *shrug. I dunno.

Is this 6max or full ring? Not to single you out, but why doesn't anyone ever make it a point to refer to which kind of game they play, and why doesn't anyone seem to ask which kind of game is being played, when stats are posted like this?

I thought full ring and 6max required wholly different play styles. Am I incorrect?

Hand 1, you called an all in with TPNK, did you have a read, it was good at the time, but still without a read you should be throwing this away.
Hand 2, Probably raise more preflop, but with the pot that big on the flop you are not getting away I don't think.
Hand 3, Slowplayed yourself into that mess. Reraise preflop, or make a much bigger raise on the flop, don't minraise.
Hand 4, tough hand, I think I am getting stacked here also.
Maybe coud have been more aggressive to see where you were in the hand, but ok I think.
As for AA and KK, don't overplay them, if someone plays back at you and is a tight player, they probably have 1 pair beat.

It is probably mostly variance though, 4k hands with a few tough ones like you have had is definitely possible.

One final note, and I will probably getting flamed for this, but I do not see a reason to raise 9% of your hands at 50NL. I did very well just raising 3-5%. Most people at that level are not paying attention to what you are raising with, etc and will not know enough to drop their hands when you make your continuation bets, leaving you in some tough situations.

I would say it's variance, but you played that Q9 hand terribly. Maybe you're letting it get to your head. I have actually increased my win rate since moving to $50 NL, so I know it's not that you can't beat the game. Play is just as bad. If you are doing anything different, don't. I'm playing the exact same way as I did at $25 NL and having success.

Hand 2: If you're going to limp re-raise, re-raise MUCH MORE than that. $15 sounds good.
Hand 3: Why are you limping AA again, if not going for the limp re-raise? Looks like you slowplayed your rockets into a mess. Don't limp-call big pockets, either raise, or do the limp re-raise (which I hate, personally, it gives away your hand way too easily). Then on the flop, why the mini-raise? Put in a man-sized raise there, make it $8-9.

This guy limped with 58s in EP, I caught top two. I was thinking only thing that beats me is a set or 58, which I didn't put him on. Again, wrong.

Yeah, you have a problem with mini-betting ($1 into a $5-6 pot, etc.) and mini-raising (raising the QK hand bet from $10 to $20). These usually don't accomplish anything.
