Default 1/2 nl live QQ

stacks

villain ~120$
hero ~300$

preflop hero has Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP and makes it 15$, 4 callers:

flop (75$ after rake blinds folded):
J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

checks to me with 2 other behind, i bet 50$, 1 folds button goes all in for 101$, folds to me.

with this many people in, i'm sure he has a set, but is this foldable for 51$ more with 226$ in the pot? i'm getting 4.5:1 to call.

I'd have to call this bet. I might even think about going over top and putting all mine in too. I'd like to fold out hands with overs and/or a single diamond/small straight draws. We're probably behind the original all in player, but the pot is laying too good odds to lay this down. Besides we do have the queen of diamonds and atleased a few outs. jmo

Call. I doubt he has more than a pair of Jacks.

Expect villain to turn over all kinds of garbage here.

I am not folding to what effectively is a minraise, although you are probably beat. There is always a chance he is doing this with AJ or a flush draw, especially in live play. If he has a set, try and spike a Q on the turn or hit runner runner diamond.

The bet on the flop increased your pot odds and makes it an easier call for you with an over pair. Who knows, he might have AQ of diamonds or maybe even a 9/10 diamonds.

i'm sure he has a set

Unless he flips over a set and shows me it, I'm beating him into the pot.

You can't be sure he has a set. Diamonds, AJ, straight draw?

If you see sets everywhere you are going to make some big mistakes.
