whether I should risk it playing 20/40 over 10/20 becuase it is a much better game.

[/ QUOTE ]

what makes you think it's a much better game?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've played in the 10/20 quite a few times and the 20/40 only 3 times. I find the 10/20 players while bad are not as bad and don't have as much gamble as the 20/40 players. The 10/20 game is usually much tighter and rarely has 8 people in capped pre-flop unlike the other game ;-).

the 10/20 is definitely a better game. the loose-passives at the 10/20 are much more profitable to play against than the loose-aggressives at the 20/40. the big pots are deceptive. you'll usually be sitting with 1-3 pros at any given time at the 20/40 as well, which doesn't help.

they're both great games though.

I agree that Brantford has exellent limit action at those levels. But even the "pros" in the 20 game I find to be terrible players.

you're right, most of them aren't that great. some of them are tight-passive, and others are too loose-aggressive. of all the pros there, only shampoo seems to be a very good limit player, but that's if you happen to catch him on a day he's not tilting.

when are you heading out there? i might go myself.
