Default 2/4 party nl 6 max - naked ace

i have 550 to start on button, and have been slightly laggish but not out of control. have villain covered. 5 handed. EVREYONE limps to me. i limp with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5. blinds completed.

flop (20) [8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]. utg bets 15, mp1 called, villain in mp2 ($850 to start hand, seems solid from what i can tell, shown down quality hands and built his stack up nice. he hasn't been making too many moves from what i can tell and looks to be playing his hand values, although will take stabs at smaller pots when others show weakness) calls, cutoff calls. i make it 50 straight with naked ace. sb folds, bb (initial bettor) folds. villain in mp2 makes it 150 straight. cutoff folds. if i raise all in it will be 290 more to villain, as i now have 390 or so left. villain has me covered. whats the play?

You raise $35 into a $95 pot that is massively multi-way? What were you trying to accomplish?

he's not folding now, so it's just a pot odds play. He could easily have a made flush or a set or even just K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I fold pf too.

Two Dimes

It looks like you're slightly +EV if he's got the made flush, but way behind if he's got the set. I ran it with Kh8d too and you're ahead, but from the description of your opponent, it sounds unlikely that he's holding that.

Looks like a fold.

OP is a massive dog to the made flush. When using twodimes you have to make sure that you put the board in the board slot, not the dead cards (I've made that mistake before). Just think -- how can the flush draw have better odds than the made flush???

as long as we're correcting stuff:

You apparently didn't put spaces between the cards on the board so it ignored them. Click your own link. There are way too many combinations that it ran.

Default 2 dimes mistake

I used the right field for the flop. What I did wrong was not putting spaces betwen the listed flop cards.

My bad. Sorry.

Hmmm... something that seemed useful ended up making me look like a fool.

Yup. That's poker.

UTG bets
MP1 calls
MP2 calls
CO calls
Button raises
SB folds
BB folds

This isn't 6-max, this is some messed up 7-max.
