Default Player difficulty per site

I've recently switched from playing primarily at Absolute poker to CD poker. In the week or so at CD, I've made nearly as many final tables and top 3 finishes as I did in the last 8 months at Absolute.

Is there THAT big of a disparity between player skills of equal buy ins at different sites, or am I just getting lucky?

I'm honestly playing no different, and the cards haven't been noticeably better. I just find players doing more stupid things at CD.

I did try the search function but didn't come up with the answer.

What site is CD?

Do you mean CD Poker? I play tournaments at Noble Poker which is a part of the same network.

When i play tournaments i play pretty much only at AP, and find the general quality of play is horrible, and the rebuy and guarantee tournaments are horrible soft.
