Default What is AC like during the holidays?

Curious what the poker rooms are like around Christmas and New Years. Dead? packed? normal? I'm thinking of spending a few days there in the middle of the last week of December.

Thanks!

At around 3 AM on December 26th of last year, in a 3/6 game at the Borgata, I held T9 on a final board of J874Q. I put in a fifth bet on the turn and a seventh bet on the river. My opponent had AJ.

Earlier in the night, the 6/12 action was just as great, though the game broke after the 4 or 5 huge donks all left within 10 minutes of each other.

So yeah, according to my weak anecdotal evidence, the action is as good as ever, if not better, on the holidays.

not to hijack but i'll be going the week AFTER (Jan 5-7) and was wondering what the best place for MLHE (mainly 15-30, 20-40). I HATE the Taj and the past few times I went to the Borgata it seemed like they had 10/20, but then a huge jump to higher games.

Thanks in advance.

Borgata has 20-40 pretty much all the time.

If you really hate the Taj, your only choice is Borgata for MLHE. Trop sometimes spreads games in those limits but not guaranteed.
AFAIK nobody else spreads over 5-10 besideas Taj, Borgata and Trop

Assuming you do very well in the 10/20 game - how would the 20 game be?

It's very soft and shouldn't be a problem, as long as you're rolled for it. It's loose and more passive than the Taj's 20 game (though there is some aggression).

Packed, from my recollection. Insane.

Also, picking up $650 in a 5-10 stud game isn't all that unfeasible if you catch a few cards and are willing to stay all day. :-)
