i go 101 miles each way
takes about 1.5 hours on a dream ride (75mph cruise control, no faster), 1.75 with normal traffic, 2+ with any type of accident, rain, snow, bennies, etc.

5 hours for me (has taken 6) if did it rush hour which I why only go home fortnightly and now am coming back late at night as can do it in 3 hours then. Was doing it weekly but it gets to be too much of a drag.

Wait, what? 5 hours each way? How on earth is your compensation high enough for that?

I've made the commute in 15 minutes before, but it usually takes 20. I resent every minute of it, too.

I used to work at a startup where I would roll out of bed, put on shorts and a t-shirt and sandals, walk downstairs, across the street, and be at my desk. Now, my commute is like 15-20 minutes and it sucks.

Dude, it's bad form to kick someone while they're already down. And that was a level 6 nut kick right there.

About 80 minutes each way, but it's entirely mass transit, so I've got no problems. Naps are a beautiful, beautiful thing. I wouldn't survive at work without my 20 minute morning Metro North nap.

My commute is 25 minutes but I don't mind it at all. I live about a block from a train stop, it's a 20 minute ride to my job, and my job is across the street from the train station. I love sleeping on the way to work. I love not driving. I put 2,000 miles on my car last year.

My commutes for all the jobs I've ever had have always been short.

-1 Mile
-2 Blocks
-2 Miles
-1 Mile
-5 Miles

So yeah, under 30 minutes always.

When I work in our MA plant:

61 miles each way
1.5 - 2 hours average a.m.
1 - 1.5 hours average p.m.

When I work in our CT plant:
138 miles each way
3 hours if I leave home at 5:00 a.m.
3.5 hours if I leave the plant at 4:30 p.m.

edit to add that I only have to go to CT for two days every other week.
