Default First Time in Vegas

Wow never noticed this forum before, need some advice and fast. I am going to vegas from tuesday 16th of august to the thursday 18th of august, basically next week. Its a family vacation, but I figure I might be able to get some poker in at some point. I like all forms of omaha, but would enjoy to play pot limit omaha high, wondering which casinos spread it in vegas and which have the best games, I am not taking a big bankroll about 600 bucks, because I might not have as much time at the tables, but I want to play pot limit omaha with something like 100 buy in, which is what I play online. Any help is really appreciated as I know nothing about vegas and its the first time I go, thanks.

I don't think you are going to find any PL Omaha games, and if you do, your bankroll isn't big enough. You might have to settle for limit omaha hi/lo.

Any good omaha hi/lo games? Which rooms would you recommend?

The Orleans has a good $4/8 hi/lo game with a kill; very juicy game, especially late at night. The Mirage runs a $5/10 game, but is full of mostly regulars. The Wynn has a good $10/20 game, but it usually only goes on weekends. The Bellagio runs a $20/40, and sometimes a $4/8 w/kill. These are your main options. Good luck.

Just a few more questions, so what games are played in vegas? Just holdem? How big are the omaha games? And if they are as big as you say I guess they must be terrible since only regulars play? I am going in december again, which game do you recommend I work on? NL Holdem? Limit Holdem? Some other one? Just a lot of questions sorry never been there and I turned 21 this year and will be going twice, once with my family and once with all my friends to mess around and some relatives live there so I might go next summer for like a month during my summer vacation from school, just want to make sure I know what to work on to play there, Thanks for all the help and for any additional help.

Sorry to bump, just want some more info on the poker games in vegas. Also something I forgot to ask, So if I wanted an omaha high low game on a tuesday the only game I could find is the 4/8 with a kill on the orleans? Just want to have everything planned to not waste time.
