Default Bankroll question

What should a person's bankroll be for the NL max buy-in online games? Does multi-tabling change the amount of bankroll? Thank you.

10 is too low I'd say.

20-30 and more never hurts (I'm about to move up now my winnings have reached 80x buy-in)

no,

20x buyin is enough for you to at least 4 table.

You'll find as you multitable that variance is actually lower instead of higher.

So when I sit down at the Taj in the $1-2 NL max $300 buy-in game, I should have $6000 with me. I never realized this was the case as I am used to the 300X big blind rule of thumb for limit games. I guess I better stuff my pockets cause I have never gone there with this much by choice. I am starting the NL games online now and appreciate the information.

On another subject, do you NL players use poker tracker two? I have fought off getting it for some time because i feel like it will take me too much time and I already spend enough time playing and already win. Any thoughts?

no thats not what is meant.

what is meant is that if you play the taj $300 buy in game regularly, you should at least have $3000, preferably $6000.

obviously if its just a 1 time trip then you should just play with what you are willing to lose.

pokertracker is very helpful and its only $50. I should be one to talk though as I don't use it currently.
