This account has over 1000 less PMs and is still over the limit.

Anyone know what the limit is? I suspect backing this lot up may take a while

PM limit seems to be 200.

Also, whenever I click on a thread, then click the back button, it takes me to the top of the forum, not where I was. That sucks.

Thanks

So far I have backed up 25.... so I'm 1% of the way to being able to get them again......

Emoticon buttons work again, so forumbot should be okay.

Rather than click back, I think there's a button marked "Back to search results" or something like that where the "search" and "index' buttons usually are.

Default Searching - I hate this upgrade

I commonly search the forum or archives by poster name; now it caps the results at 200, so if you have a prolific poster that made more than 200 posts within 4 months, you have to play with date ranges (takes forever, i.e. later than 4 weeks, earlier than 6) to figure out how to see those posts.

Before, it would just spit out a chronological sequence of posts 100 at a time, and each time you clicked "next" you get the next 100 posts.

Does anyone know who handles feedback for this kind of thing on the 2+2 administrative side?

In doing a search, I did not find the post I wanted, guess what? The "back" button does not go back to the search any more. And then...

I put the search in a second time and get:
"You cannot make another search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."

Stinking lousy "Upgrade". Downgrade to what we had before, PLEASE.

Do you guys know what the character limit on signatures is? It keeps saying that the one I want to enter is too long. But you guys have much longer ones.

I'm no longer seeing unread posts in a different color (firefox).

I've noticed that read messages don't always appear as read. Often when I go from the thread listing to the thread to read one new message, then go back to the thread list, the thread shows as having an unread message. (And no, this is not because a new message appeared during the process.)
