Well, he's certainly in the minority. I'm not sure when he came to his beliefs.

My best reason for unbelief is that I simply do not feel it. It's belief, it's faith-based (whether belief or non-belief) and it doesn't have to make any rational sense. I'm still agnostic, but that's just to remain open-minded and rational, like a good scientist.

Default What does Freeman Dyson believe

Basically, this :

Our eventual cosmos is the result of such precise prior necessary conditions, plus it is so complex, as to make the case of it being designed by a higher intelligence quite possible.

You could call it Light Intelligent Design.

See my Mick Jagger/Keith Richards post.

Have you considered and rejected the evidence for Christianity (or any other religion for that matter)?

"If someone presents me with one iota of evidence for a God, then perhaps I'll start keeping my eyes open for evidence against."

Start with this, and keep watching this forum.

"I need reasons to believe in god and I have never come across one."

And I've never found I reason to believe that Jesus was a non-devine being who happened to have access to some form of advance science which He used to trick mankind, then disappear forever.

The reasons are there. You must check your bias at the door, though.

Lets not go round in circles. The difference between us is that you are certain there are no other possibilities. I cannot rule out possibilities without proof they are impossible.

You closed the circle with faith which is fine as far as it goes but don't pretend you don't need it to be certain about christianity.
