Default Hijack alert...

On a total tangent here, have the restricted tables made the 30 game tougher? How does it play compared to the 20-40? I hear the consensus is that 1.5 BB/100 is on the high end of what most multi-tablers expect to make, surely a better WR is attainble in the 20 game?

There was big thread about it by Nightwish a while ago, and that's what i took out of it. But i'm asking Barron, not telling, so if you have a different take i want to hear it.

1.5bb+/100 is clearly doable over 100k hands.

I think restricting the game has made the game much tougher. I hope some of the 30->20 SHed players jump in with a response to you Gabe, because I am curious.

with good table selection and attentive play 1.5bb/100 is very attaintable.

Barron,

I don't disagree... yet, but I think before they restricted to 25 that closer to 3BB/100 might have been doable. I think table selection is much, much harder now, and it is not uncommon to have 8/10 people at the table as winning 2+2ers. It does not leave much room for the 30/10 "fish"'s money to be spread around.

I'm not saying great 30 tables don't still pop-up. But before the restriction I could almost always find 4 good tables to play. Now it is not uncommon for me to just opt not to play at certain times.

I agree with this. Table selection being the key. I multi-table the party 30-60 game somewhere around 20 hours per week. I have enough trouble forcing myself to get in these hands.

I must admit its partially because I like playing high stakes NL holdem/ pot limit omaha olot these days.

These numbers are attainable, but not fun at all, look more on the order of 300k a year, and you will find where alot of us multitabling 30-60 college students are.
