Default commerce 15-30

the commerce 15-30 is now spread in the same area as the 9-18. it is a jackpot game now.

This should make the 20-40 game a little better. Those 15-30 players aren't going to like being "demoted" to the other room.

The 15-30 was basically on life support anyway. I always felt the long walk, from the old room to the new one, discouraged the 9-18 players (the next lowest stake) from moving up.

It's hard to imagine the 20-40 games being any better than they alread are.

Smart move by Commerce.

yeah the 15 was a rock field for people who didn't want to pay for food and hated the 9-18

kinda reminded me of 5-10 full on party, with the 9-18 acting as wild as the party 5-10 6max

Add the fact that the small blind in the 15 was change to one chip a while back and the game was really nitted up compared to the 20/40. With inflation, I believe some of the lower end top section games will no longer be top section games (with food comps) in most LA card clubs within a few years. Jackpots are becoming more common in yellow chip games anyway (Hustler and Hawaiian Gardens both have jackpots in 15/30, 20/40, and 25/50).

This may be a very good move by Commerce. I'd suggest they use the same $3 chips they use in the 9/18 and make the small blind at least $6 or even better $9. Note that this chip structure is already popular at the Hustler (they have a 25/50 game using $5 chips and a 3 chip snall blind and five chip big blind).

And the fact that there where usually several 9/18 games and only one or at most two 15/30 games.

Agree.
