PLO8 - Bare A2 vs. LAG

BB has been minraising every pot even OOP with crap like AQ7Kss, A4xx, etc. Usually gets all his money in with good hands post-flop.

Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB pots it for 8, I call, SS folds

Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Now he bets 1.50. This looks pretty weak, anyone consider raising pot here or just calling?

just call. may be a trap, and you're probably not going to get a LAG to fold there.

Is this a good flop for us?

You said that BB min raises preflop with anything, but here he's raising the pot and potting the flop.

We're drawing to 16 low outs, 4 of which give us a straight, but we don't have much hopes for high.

I don't think we can count on successfully bluffing a third spade at this level.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the read on the Villain, but if he bets postflop with good hands, then why do we need to stick around?

You have practically no shot at high, unless he is betting an A2xx (which is somewhat possible since he potted it PF) without a pair. I think raising here would be too dangerous, and an overplay. I would call, and then think about making such a play on the river.
