Is this guy for real? It's just so ridiculous that I'm skeptical.

(I've seen a bunch of the actual shows as well as his DVD)

You should watch Penn & Teller's Bullshit! great show, will explain a lot of things people take as "fact". Hypnosis is featured in one of the episodes, and they debunk it pretty thoroughly, atleast imo.

a buddy of mine just sent me an episode of his show. The one where he convinces the guy that he actually wants a different present than what he had written down previously. Fascinating [censored]... him and David Blaine get a lot of pussy. A+ pussy

We see a lot of Derren Brown here, as he's British. His tricks are extremely impressive.
