Default POTD?

This will likely turn out lame. But I thought I'd give it a try since I hate seeing nominated posts that are really lame. I think that a larger majority could decide which of the nominated posts, are in fact, the POTD.

What was the POTD yesterday?

There were 6 nominations, nominated by 'POTD' in a subsequent reply, and all entries were found using the search function.

1. First Choice

2. Second Choice

3. Third Choice

4. Fourth

5. Fifth

6. Sixth

Where's the "none" option? (This is a good idea though)

I would like it more if he quoted them all here. There's no way i'm going to click on each of those links to view the actual post.

An, 'other' option could be included, and worked out. But you can't choose, none. Only to not vote. I mean, there has to be a POTD.

I guess I could quote them. But clicking really isn't too hard, and it will allow those who want context to get context. I could make the link text the actual quote. But this takes a lot of work.

Refusing to vote is permitted.

even if that's true, it might not be one of those selected for the poll.

Hell, I had to vote for myself (POTD 1). Even though I'm running second, it's the closest I've ever come to winning anything.

Of course, in another thread I got slammed as "the worst FYP ever," so the universe is still in balance.

Ideally people will be tighter with their POTD's fearing the scrutiny of the daily poll.

These suck, I grudgingly voted for pooper.

If those were the 6 absolute best posts on 2+2 yesterday this place is in bad shape.
