Can someone explain the new-recent Nike basketball commercial to me?

I don't understand the point either, but they are hilarious, and get the brand name across. I think Nike has such credibility already that their ads don't have to make sense. If this was a Converse ad with Dwyane Wade, for example, I don't think it would be as good - not because of Wade vs. Lebron, but because Converse isn't very established as a basketball brand compared with Adidas, Nike, or Reebok.

haha there you go, much more acurate than my version. Nike could do what ever kind of commercials they want as long as these big name athletes keep signing with them, they'll keep selling.
