I heard this song and cannot figure out who sings it

It starts out with some guys goin somethin like
"dum dum dum do la la, dum dum dum do la la"

***edit: it might not go right to the guy singing like a girl, but I know someone should recognize this song.

and then there is a guy on the lead vocals that sounds totally like a girl, singing in a real high pitched voice.

Its fairly popular, but I always seem to hear it all drunk and cannot ever remember who sings it or the song title.

From what I remember it is a shorter band name and song title...i think i mixed em up when i was told drunk.
