Default Anyone have a Dual-WAN router for 2 Internet connections?

Hey, I just ordered DSL to back up my cable modem, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with consumer-grade dual WAN routers, such as this EDIMAX or this XTERASYS model. (Note: Links are to newegg, with whom I have no affiliation.) Or any other DSL+Cable / 2 Internet connection solutions? Thanks.

Seems like he is trying to increase his bandwidth or provide himself with failover for his Internet connection or both.

Nice idea. I have no experience with either product, or for that matter, the manufacturers.

Please tell us how this works out for you.

Your avatar is a good excuse for installing the ImageZoom extension for Firefox

Well I found a Linksys VPN router that allows 2 WAN connections that I think I may end up using. I'll make a post if/when I get it hooked up in the next couple of weeks, as I can't believe this isn't more popular among tourney players as a backup. DSL is so cheap - I got SBC Yahoo DSL as a backup for $15/month for a year contract. Cheap insurance.

(I did a search but gained nothing fruitful, despite my mad 2+2 +searching -skills)

I'm trying to use DSL as a back-up to my cable modem. I play 8 $33 tournaments at a time, (and occasionally 8 x $55s) and if my connection went bust, potentially so would 5% of my bankroll. It's worth a few dollars of insurance in DSL and a UPS. If I get something rigged up, I'll let you guys know and probably make a post in MTT and STT. Thanks.
