raise more preflop, to like 15 at least

that way with your 50 bb stack you can just say sets, schmets and stick your stack in on basically any non-A flop

Re-raise bigger preflop. And no way you don't go broke with these stacks. But if you re-raise bigger, you will have made Sklansky bucks.

As others have said, raise more. Unfortunately, you are supposed to get stacked here.

You have 10 outs and your pretty sure he's he's going to call with JJ and your not commited yet investing 20.50 out of your 56.85. In this case i think you can be pretty sure your read is right and check fold becuase 1 more 1/2 to 2/3 pot size bet commits your whole stack.

I think this is a tough hand to be stacked with. Of course, you could have raised more preflop. But, as the hand was played you have a tough decision on the turn.

The third club has come out and JJ appears to be fairly likely. Almost any size bet on the turn is going to commit you to this pot and I think check folding here is a little weak.

Tough hand.

I didn't want to push all in because I wanted to maximize my profit vs a dominated hand. I didn't want to raise bigger, because then I would be more or less pot committed. I knew the criticisms would revolve around my preflop raise, however, I don't know that it is inevitable that I get stacked here.

If I check the turn, and he bets less than my stack, and I just call, I feel I can check-fold the river when the queen comes, because now there is nothing that I legitimately beat. AA QQ JJ all got me after that river.

I forgot to mention that OPPO was ~ 33/7 and ME is ~ 22/12 (but my reraises mean business).

I don't like getting pot-committed preflop because I feel like my advantage is bigger, the more streets that are played, because I am less likely to make a mistake (however, I make the big mistake for my stack here on the turn). The raise I made was sufficient to get AQ to fold, while keeping QQ and JJ in (which I probably want because I am a big favorite). Also, what is a Sklansky buck?

why wouldnt you want to get more in pre-flop you have the 2nd best hand in the game

you cant really say that you want to play more streets and that your advantage is bigger there because you are sitting on 50 BBs. if you had 500 BBs you can make a case for putting more emphasis on later streets strategy.

id love to get pot committed preflop. if youre going to play with 50 BBs, stick in as much as you can pre-flop with KK when you get it.
