Default another \"why party rocks\" lesson (very low content)

Maybe it's my rock-like tendencies, but I've never been in a hand where I jammed every chance I got, including preflop.

Sorry for the low content, I won't make a habit of it.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.75.
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO (poster) 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (11 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (9.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

River: (17.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 25.50 BB

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Qs Qh (three of a kind, queens).
CO has 5h 9c (two pair, nines and fives).
Outcome: Hero wins 25.50 BB. </font>

It's times like these when I wish Party didn't cap when it's HU.

Your river play isn't very good at all.

He still might have it. I just call after he re-raises.

I don't care how loose the guy is, when he raises your river bet you're hosed like 98% of the time.

When he caps it goes up to 99%. I think you got way lucky.

I guess I'm also thinking what hands could he have that would be 3bet PF. JJ? Maybe. AJs? Iffy. But, I guess I was running aggressive on that hand and I might have gotten a tiny bit carried away. ;-)

Who knows.

I think more important than the pre-flop stuff you should ask yourself what hands is he raising/capping you with on the river that you beat. Once he makes that first river raise I'm not too concerned with what he did before the flop.

What I am concerned with is that only a tiny minority of players make that raise without a Jack; and only a tiny minority of those players in the first tiny minority make that cap without a Jack.

If you knew the guy was a maniac it's a little different story, but against someone who is simply overly loose I don't like it.

AJs is iffy? The guy 3-bet with FIVE-NINE!!!
He could easily hold a J.
