Default Getting maximum value. I aint scared of no flush!

I am trying to work on getting proper value for my hands and not letting scare cards shut me down.

Vilain here is a TAG 16/10/2.75 after 200 hands.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, CO calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>,

The flop check-raise was done because I was up with a TAG. It was less likely to shut him down and got me the turn raise I was hoping for. But given the possible flush what is my river line if raised? And is there a better way?

Vilain in hand 2 is a maniac pure and simple. Something like 60/41/3.75 over 300 hands. He has raised the river with bottom pair on several occasions and is on his way down after being on a huge rush for the first hour I have been at his table. I have been cold decked for most of this table time but have picked him off a few times and have just got myself back level. I have bad position on him but would rather sit on a maniacs right than not have him at the table at all!

Flop: (7 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO calls, SB folds.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, CO calls.

River: (10.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, Hero?

Is this a simple 3 bet or do I at least have to consider that I could be behind here?

Hand one, because it's HU villian is less likely to have a flush.

hand 2, i think you can cap against a re-raising maniac

Hand 1, I'd just call if he raises.

Hand 2, against this villian, 3bet sounds good.
