Re: KK when flop comes rags
Not even a close decision. I would be absolutely shocked if he were ahead of you. Any hand ahead of you should check and let you bet before pushing or trapping. Now, in this hand maybe you called and he in fact had AA, 77, or 2x but that is a very rare occurrence.

Re: KK when flop comes rags
RESULTS
he had pocket 2ces Turn came another 2 giving him quads To say the least, I was very upset. When I calculated it, I saw that he had approx 2:1 odds on the preflop call on a ~8:1 chance of catching trips. Ah well, that's poker |

Re: KK when flop comes rags
If he had pocket dueces and the flop was 7-2-2 then he flopped quads. In any event villian played this poorly by calling the 6x BB raise preflop with as you say an 8-1 shot to hit a set with only 1,000 in his stack. He also misplayed the flop but was lucky that you had KK instead of AQ or AK or the like.

Re: KK when flop comes rags
Obviously the flop was 7-7-2.
It's still an instacall, and villain sucks, because he flopped a boat and gets nothing out of you if you have a big ace. |
