Default DC Card Clubs

Just moved to DC and I'm looking for a local card club in the city. Any locals able to help me out? Any info would be very much appreciated.

Thanks...

Thanks, I appreciate the tip.

I'm looking for a club that runs live tournaments, though...does anyone know of any clubs in DC that spread NL tourneys? I'd be grateful for any info...

Atlantic City is really your best bet here. DC poker scene is non-existant.

How are the games near college park? You play them often? I live on Capitol Hill now but am moving to Arlington Saturday. I am originally from LA (think Commerece Casino whenever and vegas at least once a month) and miss live action.

I don't play them often, its easier / cheaper to play online. You can enjoy poker with some of CP's finest.

Thanks guys. It's hard to believe Wash DC is a dry scene poker-wise, but I guess that's the case. If any one else has any info on places to play (tournaments, especially), I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know.

I agree with the others..Not much going on that I know of. Lots of freerolls is bars..But for real money, AC is your best bet if you cant find a home game.

Honestly, I would say your best bet if your really pressed is go to some Bars in Clarendon or Ballston on Tuesday night when the WSOP is on. I generally overhear people talking about their homegames allot in this situation. I allready play in one so Ive never asked. Thats all I can think of..
