I'd raise. I'd love to get a diamond draw to fold. If not, let's build the pot. I don't like slow playing a hand like this.

Yes but considering there is not a chance in hell of that happening I think the main concern should be getting the most $$ into pot at all costs.

If there is a player in the hand with 2 diamonds, and a diamond hits the board that doesn't pair the board or is a 7 then I will lose the hand regardless.

My first instinct here is to raise... however, a diamond draw isn't going anywhere, there are no straight draws, and we want to keep overcards in, so a call isn't bad. If we call though, what should we do on the turn? How often SB will lead the turn and how we plan to react to that should decide whether we call or raise this flop.

Excellent response, this is just what I was thinking. My plan would be to bet/raise the turn no matter what SB did, I'd either be leading or raising, but as you say its another decision that should be considered carefully.

FWIW I went into uncreative mode and simply raised the flop, folded everyoen behind me, and took it down on the turn with an uncalled bet. I feel as though I cut off my action unecessarily.
