Default Moving from very low limits to 0.50/1.00

I've been playing Holdem limit at Stars (0.05/0.10) and Paradise (0.10/0.20) for about 6 months and now going to start playing at Party 0.50/1.00.

I've got PT, GameTime and am studying SSHE.

PT classifies me as Semi-loose aggressive passive and +5bb/100 (not my good play but the black-hats who see the flop 55% and more).

How should I now adjust my play for the tables at Party 0.50/1.00?

The players at .50/1 are a little more willing to fold to raises than .10/.20. Plenty of fish at that level, but you'll also run into better and more aggro players. It's pretty much the same thing as moving up from any level. Be ready for the increase in pot size from what you're used to...this can be intimidating at first. You can try a little .25/.50 at Paradise if the jump in money bothers you. When you can, get Poker Ace ($25)to replace GT when you make the move to Party.

If you are new to Party don't pass up the opportunity to play .25/.50 at the begginer's tables. I had a rediculous win rate for a month there that is financing my .5/1 play.

If you don't already have a money account at Party, you can play in their beginner's games for the first 45 days after your first deposit. They have .15/.30, .25/.50, .50/1 and 1/2, plus 5 and 10 NL. The level of player is pretty low in these games, so you will probably do pretty well, and it's a good way to transition into the .50/1 regular games (plus a good way to build a little extra bankroll).

Having played a little bit with at micros on Paradise with my brother and plenty of .5/1 @ Party the big difference is little bit better starting hands overall, some more aggression, blind steals and you will get Check Raised which you probably have not been yet.

Slightly better tables with lower VPIP. Have fun
