is there any situations in the NL cash games that would be more profitable when You are short stacked?

Yes. If you play very poorly after the flop. Assuming you restrict yourself to tight starting requirements, you'll have virtually no tricky decisions to make...either you think you have the best hand and you shove it all in or don't and you fold.
Also, you aren't offering opponents the correct implied odds to play drawing hands (small pairs and suited connectors) against you, but they will frequently make this mistake. Read *Getting Started in Hold'em* by Ed Miller. The book dedicates a whole chapter to short-stacked NL play. Good luck. |

There are benfits to being short stacked in some cases, and you can probably even have +EV as the worst player at the table if the others are very deep stacked and you sit with 25bb or whatever and play tight.
But if you can outplay your oponents, you are better off having them covered. |
