Whatever it is though, I doubt 100 posts asking them to hurry up or insulting them is going to help.

But my insane methods have scored me so much in the past, if I could only explain it, ah,..., if you could only imagine..., ah, don't do that, just forget it.

Put the snow tires on and head to Foxwoods tonight. You'll fell better

Funny I got new tires on the front yesterday and I am going tonight.

I just waiting for those pills that morgant got, I think that will help too.

I wonder how many took money out instantly? That would be an interesting fact. Ok, ok, I need a beer.

Peace,
Joe

In college, my roomate used to offer a 12-pack of $hit beer, 2-pinners and a valium for $25/$35-delivered-24hrs-a-day. He made a killing.

He's already posted several apologies and replies. Saying that he's "silent" is hardly fair. A timeline for a new tournament is being worked out though (I hope). It hasn't even been a day yet. Let the man sort things out.

To CEOTruePoker,

I understand that a final decision so soon may be a lot to ask, but is it being unreasonable to ask for some kind of timetable. I suspect you have read all the threads relating to last nights problems and still silence.

I understand problems can happen and there was a breakdown somewhere, either mechanical or human, I am OK with that. Stuff happens, there are a lot worse things in life. But I am afraid to say that your continued silence is placing your site very firmly in the toilet.

Yours sincerely
superleeds

Joe, I think all that snow is getting to your head.

[ QUOTE ]
Look this is how they should have done it last night, put the foot down, and steped up with a post like this:

Dear Zoo, SS, Toons,

Sorry, blah blah,

Do you want to:
A.
B.

We will give you until X to decide, the vote here will be final...blah, meow,...

We apologize again for any, meow, chow, meow, we will refund your buy-in right now, chow, meow, king friday, meow, chow, and to make up for the inconvience we caused, we invite you to join us, chow, chow, meow, chow...

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
ZOO and SS and Toon players:

Please accept our apologies for the problems which arose after the break with the Blinds and tables not collapsing properly. I felt it best to do the following, right after I apologize for the screw-up on our part.

1. Sorry about the error, we ran other tournaments concurrently without problem, so we will have to review this to see why this one unfortunately fell apart.

2. To make amends, Truepoker will do the following, refund buy-ins and fees from tonight's tournament and abort the tournament.

3 We will rerun the tournament without charge at a date and time at your choice.(It will be by your consensus whether to start with everyone or only those players still in play at the break. I will leave it to Mike to give me a direction on that.)

Please accept our apologies.

David Gzesh, CEO

[/ QUOTE ]

What part of number three in TruePokerCEO's post did you not understand? They have done exactly as you have so sarcasticly suggested. They have refunded all monies, offered a freeroll to all injured parties (even those of us that were eliminated before the SNAFU- by the way you DO suck at NL ) AND left it up to us to decide how when and where....we'll we already know where. It is up to this forum to decide what time and whether it is a "do over" for all or just the players still left at the break. Maybe I'm fkning blind and stupid, but I read his response to be exactly what you so eloquently put in your post.

Ok, Husk, tell me,

Where does the vote stand? When is the tournament?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly,

Default Players\' Poll for the Freeroll Tourney.

If you were not in the True Tournament, I would appreciate it if you did not vote. Thank you.

I'll abstain from voting even though I did play, as a) I may have another committment on one or both of those days and b) their software just in general took all the fun out of the tournament.

I've cashed out and removed their program from my computer. I'm not angry but I really, really didn't like the site even before the brouhaha and I have no desire to go back.

None of which is meant to take away from the tremenous job you did, Mike. And really, I admire True's willingness to work with us on this tournament as a promotional effort for their long-term growth. But their software/interface is so poorly conceived that, even funtioning perfectly, I'm not playing there.

I was in the tourney and went out 45th. the tourney didn't mes up before then, granted the blinds were insane and it was turning into a crapshoot, but hey just get aggressive and hope for the best.

Even though I finished 45th, I feel only the players involved after the break deserve the shot to go forward. As far as I go, Morgant busted me out fair and square, and it had nothing to do with the blinds.
