IT'S STILL WALT'S FAULT!!! He's the one who recruited so poorly. He's the reason why we have little talent right now on this team. When you change coaching staff and complete philosophy, you're going to have a rough transition. It sucks to see this happen, but I have full confidence that this is only a temp thing.

I am not saying that Walt was perfect, but he did consistently keep Pitt in the top 25 and consistently got them to a bowl game. He also recruited and developed players that brought positive national attention to Pitt (Bryant, Fitzgerald, Palko, Lee, Blades). There is no reason to believe that Pitt wouldn't have suceeded this year under Walt.
Please justify to me how Weeny's coaching was responsible for any Super Bowl ring or National Title (and before you cite the Cowboys let me say 3 words:Herchel Walker Trade).
