Default 1/7.75?

Flop: (5.50 SB) 3h, 8c, 7c (2 players)
Jeff bets, CO calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 6h (2 players)
Jeff checks, CO bets, Jeff calls.

River: (5.75 BB) 4h (2 players)
Jeff checks, CO bets.

I think if you are going to check/call the turn you are pretty much commited to showdown. Unless you thinks he knows this and would give up? Personally Id usually bet the turn, but given your turn line Im calling the river.

These hands are so hard because his hand range can be so wide. I'd probably fold here without a read. If you want to go to a showdown, I much prefer betting the turn and check/calling the river for the same price.

you don't think the river card changes anything?

Why bet the turn here? Are you folding to a raise? I feel like betting the turn is just asking to be outplayed by an aggressive opponent.

Yes, it probably makes him more likely to bluff with nothing and less likely to value bet with 1 pair. So I see it as all the more reason to call.

Well if the alternative is check/calling down and hating it, then yes Ill often bet/fold the turn, or bet/call and check/fold the river if he is the type that would give up on a semibluff after we call the turn.

Hmmm, I didn't hate calling down here at all(on the turn). His range is very wide on this board.

On the river, I called because that river card makes an aggro player more likely to bluff and less likely to bet marginal pairs.

Yes.

I just hate the check/call check/call line cuz lately it feels like people have been value betting the [censored] out of me and I never seem to win when I take this line. What about a screwplay on this turn? Maybe a little too draw heavy and we dont want him to call the turn with a draw adn then bluff the river..
