Best encore I\'ve ever seen
Wilco brought My Morning Jacket on stage to play their final encore song, which turned out to be "Don't Fear the Reaper". The obvious "Where's the cowbell?" responses were quelled when one of the MMJ guys busted out the cowbell. Then the "I gotta have more cowbell" quips were silenced when 2 more MMJ guys came out with cowbells. It was awesome.
Oh, and it was a great rendition as well. |

Apparantly Don't Fear the Reaper is Wilco's new schtick. They played it during the New Years' Eve concert in MSG too.

i've always enjoyed live covers done by bands which feature mike patton (faith no more, mr. bungle, fantomas)

EDIT: Another good one I saw was Aimee Mann playing Sweet Home Alabama in response to someone's sarcastic "FREEBIRD!!!" shout. |
