Fossilman is 2nd in chips in the tournament with ~45k. He play g00t pokah.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe he started going all in on the flop to protect his cards now. Still with the amount of newbies playing this tournament, I wonder if that even helps.

I don't know if I could have gotten away from it if he'd bet my stack on the river. Hindsight is 20:20, but I'd say it was 50:50.

I agree. I would be nice to be able to look at the first page of this board and see threads like "Raymer currently at T30000" or "Jesus Ferguson gone." There are 5500 people in this tourney. It's going to suck to have to dig through this thread and find the posts that talk about the people I'm interested in. It's much easier to find a thread that talks about someone I'm interested in if it is a separate thread and that person's name is in the title.

That's why you get a decent browser and use multiple tabs. That way you can browse multiple sites and find out for yourself where your favorite player is standing in the tournament. It doesn't really matter at the moment since they're on their 75 minute dinner break at the moment.

There are a lot of people in that room. Seriously a lot.

[/ QUOTE ]

I just got back from the Rio and it's extremely difficult to move around the room as a spectator. All the walkways are crammed with people watching on the rail so that there's barely enough space for people to walk in both directions. And, of course, there is non-stop traffic.

I didn't even try to get down to the ESPN table. It was far too packed around there.

I watched a bunch of hands when the blinds were 100 and 200 with 25 antes (didn't realize antes started so soon). I saw somebody take down a good pot with J6o on a flop of Q,T,9, turn of K, river of A.

I saw a small stack push in from late position with AK and get called by the big blind's 88. Flop came A,K,x and the guy doubled up.

I didn't see any known players play any interesting hands.
